Plan your day
This guide shows how to plan and review a day in AIPA using the Daily Planner together with Tasks and the Smart Calendar. A short morning plan and an evening review turn a scattered day into an intentional one.
Steps
- Capture first. Open Tasks and dump everything on your mind so nothing is lost.
- Open the Daily Planner. From the Features launcher, open Daily Planner.
- Pick your top 3. Choose the few tasks that actually matter today and place them on the plan.
- Block time. Slot focused work against your Smart Calendar events so the plan is realistic.
- Work in focus blocks. Use the Pomodoro Timer to protect your top tasks from interruptions.
- Review at day's end. Use the planner's review to mark what got done and roll the rest into tomorrow.
Tips
- Plan light. Three meaningful tasks beat a list of fifteen you can't finish.
- Protect one block. Defend at least one distraction-free Pomodoro block for your most important task.
- Use weekly context. Check the Weekly / Monthly Planner so today's plan serves the bigger goal.
- Reflect honestly. The evening review is where you learn what's realistic.
