Manage your budget

This guide shows how to track spending and plan a budget in AIPA using the Finance tool, then set aside money with the Savings Tracker. These tools are part of the Finance & Health category, and you enter the data yourself — AIPA does not connect to your bank.

Steps

  1. Open Finance. From the Features launcher, search "finance" or "budget" and open it.
  2. Log income and expenses. Add transactions as they happen, with categories so totals make sense.
  3. Set category budgets. Decide a monthly limit per category (food, transport, subscriptions) and let the tool show you how you're tracking.
  4. Review weekly. A short weekly check-in catches overspending early, before the month is gone.
  5. Move money to savings. Create a goal in the Savings Tracker and update its progress when you set money aside.

Tips

  • Log promptly. The closer to the moment you record a purchase, the more accurate your picture.
  • Start with a few categories. Too many categories make tracking a chore; refine over time.
  • Name your savings goal. A goal called "Emergency fund" or "New laptop" is easier to fund than a vague number.
  • Pair with Goals. Tie a savings target to a broader personal goal.

Honest note

AIPA is not financial advice and does not connect to your bank. It helps you record and plan your own money privately. For investment, tax, or financial-planning decisions, talk to a qualified professional.
