Quick Start
This quick start takes you from a fresh open of AIPA to using your first tool in a few minutes — sign in, open the launcher, pick a tool, and (optionally) turn on AI. No prior setup is needed beyond a Google account.
1. Open AIPA
Open aipa.aoneahsan.com in your browser, or launch the Android app if you installed it. See Installation if you haven't yet.
2. Sign in with Google
Click Sign in and choose your Google account. Signing in:
- Creates your private account (data stored under your own Firebase free-tier space).
- Enables sync, so the same tasks, notes, and trackers appear on web, Android, and iOS.
You can browse the app before signing in, but anything you want to keep and sync needs an account. On native (Android/iOS), Google sign-in uses the native Google flow; on the web it uses the Firebase Auth popup.
3. Open the feature launcher
AIPA's left navigation carries the core sections. To reach any of the 40+ tools, open the Features launcher (the dashboard grid). It lists every tool grouped by category — Productivity, AI & Content, Finance & Health, Learning & Collaboration, and Utilities — with a search box so you can jump straight to "habits", "budget", "flashcards", and so on.
4. Use your first tool
Pick something quick to feel the flow:
- Add a task — open Tasks, type a title, set a priority, and save. It appears in your list and syncs.
- Jot a note — open Quick Notes and start typing; notes are searchable.
- Start a focus session — open the Pomodoro Timer and run a 25-minute cycle. See the Pomodoro guide.
- Build a habit — open Habit Tracker, add a habit, and check it off to start a streak. See Track your habits.
5. (Optional) Turn on AI
To use AI Brain, AI chat, the writing assistant, translation, or the image generator, add your own free Google Gemini API key:
- Get a key from Google AI Studio.
- Paste it into AIPA's AI settings.
Full steps and what each AI feature needs are in Bring Your Own Key. Tools that don't use AI work without any key.
6. Make it yours
- Theme — AIPA includes theme customization; pick the appearance that suits you.
- Reminders & notifications — opt into reminders where a tool offers them; the app asks for notification permission only when you do.
- Sync check — open the same tool on another device after signing in to confirm your data followed you. See Account & Sync.

FAQ
Do I have to set up AI to use the app?
No. AI is optional. Every non-AI tool — tasks, notes, planners, trackers, utilities — works without a Gemini key.
Will my data appear on my phone after I add it on the web?
Yes, as long as you're signed in with the same Google account on both. Sync is account-based.
Can I use AIPA without signing in?
You can explore, but to save and sync data you need to sign in with Google.
How do I find a specific tool fast?
Open the Features launcher and use its search box; type part of the tool's name or a keyword like "budget" or "qr".
